What is East Bay Rodent Proofing's process?

We follow a proven 4-step process: (1) Inspection to find entry points and signs of activity, (2) Proofing to seal those openings with durable materials, (3) Clean-up to sanitize when contamination is present, and (4) Protection with prevention recommendations. We do not use poison or bait stations. Free inspections are available across Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.

01

Inspection

We check the attic, crawlspace, garage, roof, and outside for openings and signs of rats or mice. You get a clear list of what we found.

02

Proofing

We seal those openings with materials built to last. Closing the way in is what stops them from coming back.

03

Clean-up

If there are droppings, nests, or odor, we clean and sanitize those areas. Not every home needs this step.

04

Protection

We share simple prevention tips and a record of the work so you know what was sealed and what to watch for later.

Exact clean-up and protection details depend on what the inspection finds, but our approach stays the same: seal the openings, clean contamination when needed, and keep rodents out without poison or bait stations.
